Upgrading the BAMS’ Website

Faced with poor lead quality, few conversions, and low website traffic, BAMS Merchant Solutions, a Brooklyn-based payment processing company, came to Amsive in need of web support. BAMS came to Amsive with goals to improve time on the website, increase CTA interaction, achieve greater scroll depth, and decrease site bounce rate.

We moved forward with objectives to redesign the site, giving it a more updated and modern look while staying true to BAMS’ brand personality. Additionally, with the help of SEO and CRO (conversion rate optimization) teams, we set out to bring the BAMS website closer to best practices; consolidating redundant copy, using bullets to quickly convey information, and develop effective call-to-actions.

Revamping BAMS

As an intern, I led the website redesign and modernization that would be used for BAMS moving forward. With the help of other teams, we also initiated testing to see which headlines and copy would resonate most with site visitors.

Setting BAMS Up For Future Success

With clear improvements discovered through user testing and a brand new look and feel for BAMS, we were able to record very positive metrics following the implementation of our changes. Along with an 8% increase in lead quality, Amsive helped BAMS move the needle towards its goals, setting the stage for big things in BAMS Merchant Solutions’ future.
