Whag Social Media Strategy

The formulation, coordination, and execution of a social media strategy for a small, and recently launched cybersecurity startup.

Inspiring Audiences to Take Responsibility for Personal Digital Security

Whag is an online software designed to protect users from dangerous links and phishing. Using various forms of identity verification, Whag users are able to create unique and verified URLs that they can share with their online network. Backed by Whag’s Chrome Extension, users also have the confidence to click links without fear of falling victim to phishing schemes.

A common challenge in the B2C cybersecurity space is getting everyday consumers to care about their online security. Many believe that the bare minimum (default security measures) is enough to protect them. However, many stories prove that this is not enough.

This is where Whag’s social media strategy comes in. By spreading awareness, sprinkled with a little bit of fear, users’ eyes are opened to the realities of digital risk and pointed to Whag, where they’ll be able to click with confidence.
